Window 7 getting no where
Is anyone using windows 7 now? it seems that there are a lot of negative review on it since it released.. I think I will rather stick with my vista for the moment but the Mascot girls does look good ^^
window 7 failed on live TV?
Ultramen X window 7 = fail?
What do you think?
UI(user interface) is what most window’s new product face, and from the video you can clearly see that the touch screen thing … kinda miss the touch.. oh well there is still time ~

Upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 x64 Ultimate a few months ago. Several systems running on Windows 7 here. No problems (besides missing HP printer drivers before they released them last week, but thats not Microsofts fault.)
Installed it on my Netbook too… and it runs way faster than XP on that too!
+ the Nanami-chan theme is soo cute. My first moe OS^^
so is it good?
Switch to Linux. Obivously the best choice. 😉
good way to score some points for other OS eh?
I hate to mention, but people are already having problems with Windows 7 upgrade from the Student Offer with the update not being able to unpack and update troubles that causes a unsuccessful update of Windows 7 and leaving the setup in a endless loop.
GG, Microsoft… It’s still Windows… and they haven’t seem to clean up their act… but I haven’t got into any problems when upgrading Windows Vista Business X64 to 7 Professional x64 on my Bootcamp partition.
Been running it since beta and I find it superior to previous windows version in every way imaginable. Clean install btw, upgrading is a recipe for disaster.
Negative reviews? lolwut
On the contrary: the majority of reviews seem to be singing praises of it. While I don’t think it’s ZOMFG GREATEST EVAR!!!111ONEONE, the install wasn’t too painful, and the speed bump is noticeable.
Upgraded from Vista 32bit Home Prem to 7 64bit Pro, custom (clean) installed, from a Student Offer download running off a USB stick. Microsoft provided all the tools, except the USB stick.
I took one of the ‘hardest’ paths possible (subjective, but still), and managed to finish the install, all drivers up, within a freaking hour. So why all the hate?
well don’t you think its kinda unsafe to risk it when you already have a stable OS?
True, it was a gamble based on good faith, though I still did backup my important stuff. The student offer makes it cheap enough to consider, and Vista (stable or not) was a resource hog + UAC nightmare.
It’s been 5 days, and it hasn’t crashed on me yet. It’s also been beta-tested to hell and back these past few months, so stability shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re using ice-age hardware.
well maybe i’ll think about it during my university holidays… don’t want to risk anything at the moment … it could be fatal you know.>.<
and we can't use computer breakdown as an excuse for missing deadlines…
